Privacy Policy

AuraDial (“we”, “us”, “our”) builds a simple Android launcher for seniors and their families. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using AuraDial, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

• Account and profile data: When you subscribe to Family Sync, we store a pairing code or token so family members can connect. We do not require a name, email, or phone number to use the free launcher.
• Contacts you choose: AuraDial can read the contacts you mark as favorites so it can show their names and photos on the home screen. We do not upload your full contact list to our servers.
• Location data (Family plan only): With your permission, the app shares a one-time location with linked family members when the senior taps “I'm alright” or when an SMS alert is triggered. We do not track location continuously in the background.
• SMS messages (Family plan only): The app may send a pre-written alert SMS to linked family members if a check-in is missed. Standard carrier messaging rates apply.
• Usage and crash data: We may collect anonymous app usage and crash reports to improve stability. This data is not linked to personally identifiable information.

• To provide the launcher, daily check-in, and Family Sync features.
• To send optional SMS alerts to linked family members.
• To process subscriptions and trials through Google Play Billing.
• To diagnose crashes and improve app performance.
• To communicate with you if you contact support.

• We do not sell or rent your personal data.
• We do not show third-party advertising inside AuraDial.
• We do not continuously track location.
• We do not access your full contact list unless you explicitly grant it, and even then we only use the contacts you select as favorites.

Subscription payments are handled by Google Play. We do not store your payment card details. Purchases are subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

We share information only when necessary:

• With linked family members you have invited, to the extent needed for Family Sync.
• With service providers who help us host data or send communications, under strict confidentiality obligations.
• When required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety.

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. If you uninstall the app or cancel your Family subscription, linked data is deactivated and deleted within a reasonable period.

• You can revoke permissions (contacts, location, SMS) at any time in Android Settings.
• You can cancel your Family subscription in the Google Play Store.
• You can request deletion of your data by emailing us at hello@auradial.app.

AuraDial is intended for seniors and their family caregivers. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by updating the date at the top of this page.
