Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AuraDial (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

AuraDial is an Android launcher designed for seniors and their family caregivers. Some features require an active Family subscription and a compatible Android device.

2. Accounts and Subscriptions

  • The free version of AuraDial can be used without creating an account.
  • Family Sync and related premium features require an active Family subscription, billed through Google Play Billing.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • All payments, refunds, and billing disputes are handled by Google Play according to their policies.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use AuraDial only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
  • Use the App to harass, spam, or transmit harmful content.
  • Share invitation tokens or pairing codes with anyone outside your intended family group.
  • Circumvent subscription checks or access controls.

4. Family Sync and Invitations

Family Sync allows a subscriber to link companion devices to their family group. Invitations are single-use, expire after a limited time, and should be treated as sensitive links.

Check-ins are one-way and must be actively sent by the older person by tapping “I'm alright.” AuraDial does not detect a missed check-in, monitor the person, or automatically alert family members when no check-in is sent. Check-in and optional location delivery depend on device permissions, power, and network availability.

5. Intellectual Property

AuraDial, its logo, designs, code, and content are owned by AuraDial and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

AuraDial is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every device.

AuraDial is not an emergency service, medical alert device, emergency response system, monitoring service, or replacement for professional caregiving. It does not replace calling 911 or local emergency services. Do not rely on AuraDial as the only means of checking on a person's health or safety.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AuraDial shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or reliance on the App, including an absent or delayed check-in, delivery failure, unavailable device, interrupted network connection, or inaccurate location.

Families are responsible for maintaining appropriate regular-contact and emergency plans. If you believe someone may need urgent help, contact 911 or the appropriate local emergency service directly.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to AuraDial if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Google Play Store.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
